I wanted my kids to understand money before the world taught them the hard way.

Not investment portfolios or compound interest calculators. The real stuff. What happens when your payslip doesn’t match what you expected. What buy-now-pay-later actually costs. Why some months there’s nothing left and it’s nobody’s fault.

I looked for a book that covered this — something my teenagers would actually pick up. I couldn’t find one. So I wrote it.

No Money, No Clue is set in Bradford, based on the kind of financial situations real UK teens face every day. It’s free to read online because the whole point is for people to read it, not for me to make money from it.

Claire Publishing is just me — M. Claire — a parent with a keyboard and a reason to write. This is the first book. It won’t be the last.
